The full power of Pragma TradeEngine® can be deployed as a broker-neutral turnkey algorithmic trading software system. A private installation allows clients to benefit from our industry-leading suite of algorithms while enjoying an unparalleled degree of control, anonymity and cost-efficiency.
Pragma provides a TradeEngine private installation as an ASP service, hosted at Pragma's SAVVIS data center. The client trades through its own DMA broker or brokers, thus requiring no changes to clearing procedures, but the hardware, hosting facilities, market data and street-side connectivity come from Pragma. The client makes a FIX connection to TradeEngine from its existing order or execution management system and, optionally, views parameters using TradeEngine's GUI. This offering provides all the advantages of the TradeEngine private installation with none of the administrative overhead. Clients using multiple DMA brokers can take advantage of TradeEngine's configurability by enabling advanced routing behavior including pinging and randomization. With a private installation, no broker or financial institution ever sees the parent order, let alone the whole basket.
